Clear Lake Filtration
Clear Lake Filtration is a product extension of KnightHawk Industries with a focus on custom filtration housings. We primarily serve the beverage, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, microelectronics, food & dairy, and paint & ink industries; however we are not limited within these industries. Our housings can be specifically designed based on customer requests and their varying necessities. Our products are handmade using TIG welding and then electro polished which leaves the surface extremely smooth; by doing so this allows for some of the highest quality filter housings on the market. Our sanitary housings are free of sharp corners or bends that might trap and collect residual waste. From our designs to our production methods CLF's number one goal is to provide the customer with the highest quality filter housings on the market that will go above and beyond their expectations. Our Industrial Filter Housings and Liquid Filter Housings are rugged, last for many years and all materials meet the highest standards for the specified grade. Finally, all of Clear Lake Filtration's products are made in house in League City, Texas.

KnightHawk Industries: KnightHawk Industries, LLC (KHI) was formed in 2009 to meet the challenges of the design and development of specialty products for heavy industry. The mission of KHI is to develop products that solve major industry problems based on the latest methodologies and technique. KHI is an affiliate company of KnightHawk Engineering, Inc. (KHE)
KnightHawk Engineering: KnightHawk Engineering was founded in July of 1991 by Cliff Knight. Since our inception, we have assembled a diverse and powerful staff of engineers who are proven leaders in their field. They have executed projects throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Our clients range from individual entrepreneurs to the largest industrial giants, such as Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron and NASA. This depth of experience and expertise has allowed KnightHawk to establish itself as a preeminent leader in design, failure analysis, rotordynamics, and trouble-shooting of static and rotating equipment around the world.
Our static equipment analysis includes selective linear exchangers, quench coolers, furnace tubes, pelletizing dies, and blow-down systems into closed headers. Our rotating equipment analysis includes machine and structural dynamics, failure analysis, evaluation of acoustic pulsation, and rotordynamic modeling. In addition to these disciplines, we perform specialty machinery design and third party audits.
Throughout the years, KnightHawk has developed a strong reputation in the industry for our work on major high profile projects. For example, KnightHawk was hired by NASA to design oxygen valves for the space shuttle program. We have also performed FEA modeling for human implants. Our failure analysis work includes determining the root cause of a compressor explosion on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico as well as a major compressor in a copper plant in Indonesia, the shutdown of which caused the cost of copper to increase worldwide. Most recently, we have been retained to perform a root cause failure analysis of a two billion dollar plant in the Middle East that had been unable to become operative.
Materials Lab: The KnightHawk Materials Lab formed in 2008 has a highly talented team of metallurgists, engineers, and technicians. Our staff has in-plant experience and come from diverse technical fields and backgrounds to give your problem a multi-disciplined analysis. KnightHawk's unparalleled materials and metallurgical laboratory has has taken testing, analysis and consulting to a level previously unknown in the industry. Our in-house capabilities allow us to respond to customer needs quickly and effectively by collaborating with our specialty engineering team. Our Lead P.h.D. materials engineer heads a staff of talented engineers and technicians in our state-of-the-art materials lab.
